Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Remote / London
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

As a Senior Structural Engineer at DVP Structures, you will have the opportunity to lead complex projects across a diverse range of sectors. This role requires proficiency in design and analytical skills, project management, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for various types of buildings.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Act as a mentor for junior engineering staff.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Review and approve project drawings and reports.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Chartered with IStructE or ICE or working towards chartership.
  • Proficient in the use of design software such as Revit, and structural analysis software.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Graduate Structural Engineer

Location: Remote / London

Job Description:

As a Junior Structural Engineer at DVP Structures, you will be involved in diverse projects, assisting senior engineers in structural analysis and design tasks. This role is a great opportunity to learn, develop your skills, and start your journey in the field of structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.
  • Prepare drawings, calculations, and reports.
  • Attend site visits and meetings.
  • Contribute to the coordination of project tasks with multi-disciplinary teams.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 0-2 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of design software such as Revit.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Senior Revit Technician

Location: Remote / London
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

As a Senior Revit Technician at DVP Structures, you will be instrumental in developing detailed design drawings for a variety of structural engineering projects using BIM tools, particularly Autodesk Revit. This role requires a high degree of technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of structural design concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and oversee the production of detailed Revit models and drawings in accordance with project requirements.
  • Work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure coordination of designs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Revit/BIM standards and templates.
  • Provide technical support and mentoring to junior staff in the use of Revit and other design software.
  • Conduct clash detection and problem resolution related to BIM models.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Technical diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting and design within a structural engineering environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with Navisworks and other BIM tools is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
